I can't afford the DLC and tbh, I dont really like the looking of the Map and some of the Dinos, i'd just like to spawn in some of them to have them on Ragnarok.

Here's what i made to get some of them in the Center Ice Cave. You would just need to pick a Ragnarok spawner to use insead. Last edited by Paxatax ; 16 Dec, am. I assume that youn will have to wait for a dev kit release first though. Hermit View Profile View Posts. You can spawn creatures in without the DLC.

Only the map is paid content, the creatures can be used on any map. To spawn them individually use the commands in the sticky at the top of this forum, or if you want them appearing naturally in your world, use the spawn config setting to add them as Pax suggested.

Quick query for Pax though - I've done the same thing on my server, setting the creatures to spawn in our world, but does the basillisk work for you in your setup? I've seen the crab in my save, and while I've yet to find the other creatures I'm sure they'll show in time, but I don't know whether the basillisk has special spawn conditions which wouldn't be met when added through configs ie.

Mushroom Forest (Aberration)

Have you seen them work on your world? They were submerged, with the bit sticking up. I'll jump back in game and interact with one to see if it pops out. EDIT : Basilisk seem to be fine in my map.

They were burrowed, and popped out when i got close. Last edited by Paxatax ; 16 Dec, pm.Any creatures tamed and items received can be brought to the vanilla island and used by people with and without the expansion.

Items from the DLC can also be spawned manually if you don't own the expansion pack. Aberration places survivors on a damaged ARK: its internal atmosphere has leaked away, resulting in a harsh surface with intense radiation, and a plethora of lush biomes underground. With the maintenance systems of this ARK malfunctioning, the many hazards, creatures, and nature of the environment present a thrilling new world to explore and master.

The intense radiation of Aberration has led to incredible genetic mutations, resulting in new creatures with amazing abilities! New tools are on-hand to survive on the world of Aberration, while opening up many possibilities for new competitive and cooperative scenarios. Traverse the ARK using cave-climbing picksgliding wingsuitsand ziplines.

And in the deepest depths of Aberration, their terrifying — yet somehow familiar — master awaits… will YOU be among the survivors powerful enough to face him? The map is the underground of a damaged ARK. Most of the features are related to underground, where new Resources exist, such as Fungal Wood and Gems. Rather than being an island, the majority of the map is enclosed underground biomes, making it especially advisable to carry a Compass or GPS to not get turned around in the dark twists and turns.

Radiation seeps in at specific locations of the map, causing exposed players not wearing protective gears to take damage over time. Other new strange effects are also a feature.

There are three main regions, excluding the surface: The green region being the Fertile, the blue region being the Bio luminescence, and the red region being the Element. Fertile Land do not have any negative effects, Bio luminescence is cold, and Element contains radiation, inflicting both survivors and tamed dinos with Radiation sickness over time without protection.

Oil is harder to get, since other than the Trilobite Dung Beetle Lamprey and rare Seeker drops, the only other natural source of Oil is at the Surface or in the much more difficult area beyond The Spine. But It can be dropped by Tek Dinos. Like the other maps, Supply Crates only spawn on the surface, but unlike other maps, crates can still be found below the surface, outside of artifact caves, in the form of Loot Crates.

A new and fairly vital resource to the game is the Gem, which has three color types found in areas of varying difficulty. Green Gems are found almost immediately upon spawning in the Portal and are found further on in the Fertile region. Blue Gems are found within the Luminescent Biome. A lesser vital resource Fungal Wood is gathered like regular Wood but from the larger mushrooms scattered around the underground.

It substitutes for Wood in recipes, but is explicitly required for making the new structure Shag Rug.Mobile App users need to view this page in a browser to use the map fully. Sign In. Cave loot crate. Dungeon loot crate. With the addition of Aberration, a whole bunch of new environmental features were added into the game. These are features in the game that will affect what is going around in the world.

The map for the Aberration expansion can be seen below. The first main feature added into Aberration are earthquakes. Earthquakes cause the earth to shake around you every few seconds, and it will cause trees to fall and rocks to break.

These earthquakes will not damage you or your dinosaurs, they are purely for the shock factor of being in the wilderness. Earthquakes cannot damage you or your dinosaurs, but they can displace you. They will move your character in a random direction every few seconds, when the earth shakes. As you dive deeper into the Aberration, you will feel the earthquakes be more violent, which will cause you to move further and further. This can make traversing some of the lands rather annoying, but you cannot die from these earthquakes unless you are knocked off of a high space.

The interaction between the earthquakes and swimming seems is also present and seems to be inconsistent. Sometimes I felt that these earthquakes were amplified when I was in the water, but other times it felt as if they were dulled. If you are climbing a rock face with a climbing pick, you should immediately stop if you start to notice an earthquake happening.

Although the earthquakes cannot knock you off of a rock face, if you move while an earthquake is happening, you can be thrown off of the rock face.

So the earthquakes can definitely bite you in the butt if you happen to be in a risky location while one is going off. Not everything about these earthquakes are completely bad. Whenever an earthquake is happening, debris will fall. This debris seems to be random resources that are unique to the Aberration. The resources that come after an earthquake vary depending upon what part of the Aberration you are in, but you can get some seriously good items after an earthquake.

I definitely recommend searching around for a little while after you encounter an earthquake, as you can get really lucky and get a huge jump start on the tribes around you if you happen to get a good random drop. Another environmental feature you will notice while traversing through the Aberration are the extreme temperatures.

There is a lack of atmosphere at the surface of the Aberration, so the temperature varies widely depending upon where you are and what time of the day it is. During the day time, temperatures can raise so much that the ground will ignite and flames will occur. These flames can kill a low level survivor if he is unlucky. Even higher level survivors need to watch out with these flames, as they do a ton of damage. Nothing can protect you from the ground when it is on fire, except escaping the fire by whatever means.

The temperatures will cool back down at night, and when the temperatures drop, it will get rid of all flames from the bad areas. Another unique factor to the Aberration is the introduction of Seasons.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts. Change language. Install Steam. Store Page. Global Achievements.

I've been playing Ark Singleplayer, and I'm wondering how to upload or download creatures. Do I have to get clear to the surface and try to use an Obelisk? I think I remember reading in a patch note that they'd disabled that for deep sea style crates at some point, so maybe that's what's going on.

Is there any other mehcanism for transporting my character back to other maps, or sending Aberration creatures? I've never managed to kill any of the other bosses, so I have no Tek access at all. Even if I can't bring outside creatures in on singleplayer, I'd like to send my spares out once I start getting extras. Showing 1 - 15 of 19 comments. Demon View Profile View Posts.

It seems like a ton of the new features of the map are based around letting you have easy access to Element at least compared to fighting a boss every time you need a stack of it.

And I think I remember from the patch notes or a dev post that Tek Teleporters are disabled by default on Aberration. The stock in-game version probably won't work. Like how if you upload your survivor in the first place, you have to alt-tab and force close the game.It adds several new items, creatures, a new boss, and a new map.

Survivors will spawn on a malfunctioning ARK in an underground biome. The atmosphere has leaked away, making way for intense radiation and a harsh environment. This has led to unique genetic mutations as creature and fauna have had to adapt to survive. Among them are the camouflaging Rock Drake who can climb up walls and glide through the air.

Light the way with the help of the friendly Bulbdog. Grab and toss multiple creatures with the massive Cave Crustacean. Although it will take a skilled player to tame one, the Reaper Queen would be worth the effort as her ability impregnates foes with a horrible reproductive chest-burster.

Aberration includes new tools and engrams. Create zip lines and gliding wingsuits for travel, hazmat suits, railguns and explosive rounds for defense and protection, explore caves using cave-climbing picks to get around. Use fishing baskets and gas collectors to gather new resources. Players will find themselves far from alone in Aberration. Countless "Nameless" creatures roam about and they are the among the greatest challenges players will face.

They will require constant vigilance, and have a hierarchy system that includes a powerful master in the deepest depths of Aberration. Players will need to find ways to defend against their continuous attacks. Fertile Lake offers more sunlight and easy water access. While the content of the game is underground, this area seems to resemble top-side the most.

Gems are less concentrated here although green stone appears plentiful. Earthquakes drop wood, stone, green gems, blue gems, crystal, and flint. They commonly have a glow effect. When wearing the full armor set a survivor is protected from various environmental hazards; these include radiation and outdoor radiation from Genesismushroom spores, poison gas and the like.

This allows the wearer to traverse the map freely without worrying about environmentally-applied debuffs, so long as none of the armor pieces lose all their durability. Players planning on getting a Reaper of their own after being impregnated with an offspring will find this useful as well, since it prevents the said creature inside from being exposed to the radiation.
